FULL DAY ETNA
Highlights : Valle del Bove, Lava cave, Extinct Craters, Dagala, 2002 Volcanic Fracture.

The Tour starts with a walk on the edge of extinct craters in order to understand the structure of the Volcano and the life cycle of an eruption.
Afterwards, equipped with torches and helmets we will visit a lava cave and back on the 4WD we will climb up an ancient lava flow in order to reach one of the most breathtaking sceneries that Mt Etna gives us, such as the renowned ”Caldera” called “Valle del Bove”.
For lunch we will enjoy a typical Sicilian lunch (full menu, drinks included) and excellent Etna wines. After lunch, our adventure will carry on to discover some unique volcanic phenomena like the so called “Dagala” (a piece of land surrounded by solidified lava) and the 2002 Volcanic Fracture where we can witness the exact point where the lava flow started.
CONDITIONS
This is a private tour for maximum 6 participants in one jeep. For larger groups we have many vehicles.
Pick up from your location at 9am, return 5.30pm. Recommended equipement layered clothing, trekking shoes or similar, hat and raincoat according to the season. Use the booking form for more information.
